The discussion will entail how going beyond the instrument and looking at the capabilities of the total package will help end users ensure they get the best solution for their final element needs. Sub-topics will include SIL ratings and certifications on valves, actuators and instrumentation. Calculations required for SIL rated assemblies.

Todd Harrison has been employed by Metso since 2004. Todd performs many tasks in support of Metso in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. He is the Channel Manager for Metso working with the Texas and Louisiana representatives for sales support and technical training. He also supports our global project activity at the Houston EPC firms. In addition, Todd also provides technical and sales support for our Digital Products initiatives. The digital products include Metso’s Smart Valve Controller and Smart on/off technology for SwitchGuard and ValveGuard (PST). Todd has 20 years of industrial sales and marketing experience in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.
